Don's Back Pain Struggle

Hi everyone: May 2008 I ended up on crutches after wearing orthotics. I have been in bed since. I have a history of back problems, except for 3 months of Pilates in 2006. I have Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. L3 to S1 are the areas involved. My pain is bi-lateral and it hurts in the arches and heels of my feet. I've seen over 30 doctors and they just keep referring me.

The pain is so bad that I can't walk. This is worse than any of my "true" back injuries of 1982 and 2001. I tried Spinal Decompression last year and it got of of pain on May 28, 2009. The next day they changed the angle on the machine and I relapsed.

I'm now in NE Ohio and seeking answers at a clinic. The Neurosurgeon said he didn't believe it was my back, so it was back to the Foot and Ankle doc. It's an ongoing nightmare.

The MRI does shows Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. My feet also turn purple when seated. I can't walk or sit. Has anyone else gone through something similar that involved the feet? BTW, I do not have Sciatica. Can anyone please help me? I'm at my last rope.- Don
