Dr. David Schechter is a Board Certified Family Practice/Sports Medicine physician in Culver City and Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Schechter is a doctor who practices mind/body medicine, using the training provided by Dr. John Sarno. Dr. Schechter was also one of Dr. Sarno’s patients and has over 20 years experience in diagnosing Tension Myositis Syndrome.

Dr. Schechter Education and Experience

Dr. Schechter graduated from Princeton University in 1980. He went on to New York University Medical School where he graduated in 1984. Dr. Schechter completed his residency and internship at UCLA/Santa Monica Hospital in 1987. Dr. Schechter functioned as Dr. Sarno’s research assistant during his time at NYU Medical School. Dr. Schechter is a well rounded family physician with special focused skills in Sports Medicine.
