Left Side Pain

I am 43 year old female who has struggled with pain on my left side for as long as I can remember. At age 13, I was diagnosed with scoliosis. I was supposed to wear a brace for 23 hours a day. I did not want to do this, so my parents did not make me. I wish I had not been so stubborn, maybe I would feel better today. I have three curves and a left leg that is shorter than the right. I have severe neck pain, as well as shoulder, rib, hip, lower back, left leg and foot pain.

For the last five years I have also been struggling with tarsal tunnel syndrome and plantar fasciitis in my LEFT foot. I have gone to many doctors, chiropractors etc, without any real relief. As I age there, is more pain, as I continue to slowly gain more weight, the worse I feel. It has been difficult to exercise due to my foot problem.

I have had three different orthodics, seven cortisone shots, steroids, lyrica (made me crazy drug), physical therapy, pain drugs, exercises, all for this left foot! I also have cramping, numbness, and tingling that starts in my foot and goes all the way up thru my calf into my hip, which is very sore all of the time, to the point that it's hard to sleep on left side.

For the past two months, my lower side and rib cage have also been sore to the touch, making it difficult to sleep. I have recurring bouts of sciatic pain in my left butt cheek! hooray! I would really appreciate any information that may help me! - Cheryl
