Sensei Adam Rostocki Biography
Author & Editor
Sensei Adam Rostocki is the author of this site, as well as the book
“Cure Back Pain Forever”.
Sensei is not a medical doctor, chiropractor, or any other type of therapist or healthcare professional. Sensei is merely a recovered patient. This site is written exclusively from a patient’s point of view. The writing on this site is honest and accurate, as it applies to Sensei’s own personal experiences.
Martial Arts
Sensei holds 4 black belts in several martial arts styles. Sensei is also an instructor of Tai Qi Quan. Sensei has literally traveled all over Asia to study and teach martial arts in many styles and schools. Sensei has taken great pride in learning from some of the best instructors in the world, as well as combining his knowledge into a comprehensive system of self defense. Sensei Rostocki has studied Traditional Oriental Medicine and human anatomy for many years. Sensei has developed a particularly large base of knowledge concerning Qi energy in the body.
Sensei Adam Rostocki has long believed in the sharing and combining of knowledge, which is not commonplace in the world of traditional martial arts. Sensei Rostocki has renounced teaching martial arts as a business or for profit. As with most things, money changes and pollutes knowledge.
Back Pain
Sensei suffered with
acute
and
chronic back pain
for 18 years, from the ages of 16 till 34. He was diagnosed with
scoliosis,
muscle imbalance,
degenerative disc disease,
and
herniated discs
at levels L4/L5 and L5/S1. Sensei had acute flare ups of pain that became progressively worse as he aged. In his mid 20’s, Sensei also started to experience daily chronic pain, even when there was no severe acute pain.
Sensei was treated by many doctors in several specialties, as well as many chiropractors. Sensei also received treatment from many different types of therapists and healers around the world. Sensei left no stone unturned in his quest for back pain relief. Unfortunately, the best he was able to find was minor temporary relief. At the end of his pain, Sensei was not responsive to any treatment, and it seemed that back pain would finally conquer him completely.
Sensei eventually found a cure for his pain. It turned out that after all these years, the pain was
psychological.
This diagnosis was confirmed by
Dr. John Sarno
of the Rusk Institute / NYU Medical Center. The cure for his pain was
knowledge therapy.
The pain is now completely gone, and Sensei has vowed to try to help others to overcome their back pain, as others have helped him.
Sensei Adam Rostocki has worked relentlessly to study all about back pain for over 15 years. Martial arts taught him that in order to defeat an enemy, he must first understand the enemy. CURE-BACK-PAIN.ORG is the latest and greatest expression of Sensei’s fight against common forms of back pain.
