Terrible Back Pain

For anyone that reads this, please take me serious. I have literally burst out crying so many times just because I saw a commercial about back pain. I just turned 19 years old, so I hope you can see why I started crying. In every single commercial you see on back pain, you see people who are grown adults or older. I have never ever seen ANY kind of back pain commercial that shows a 19 year old or even close to 19 years old.

I am about 5'5" and weigh about 185 lbs. I have large breasts, sized at 38 DDD. I have not only been 'dealing' with my back pain, I have been SUFFERING with it as far back as I can remember. I have tried seeing a chiropractor regularly for about a year roughly. I have also tried acupuncture twice a week for 5 or 6 months. I have gone through physical therapy too. I have even taken many different kinds of X-Rays throughout my 'only' 19 years of my life and have come up with no results of a diagnosis or anything.

It is literally a regular thing for me to require assistance from my boyfriend to help me get out of bed in the mornings. On a daily basis, my boyfriend massages my back, shoulders, and neck. If I am not able to get my back rubbed much, I am guaranteed to have an even worse back the next day. After that, it takes about 3 or 4 days for my back pain to go back to feeling how it was before. The saddest thing for me to say, is that with my back pain that I have been living with, it has only gotten worse as I have gotten older. I am beyond terrified to say it, but I wonder how my back will be like when I turn 20. I can barely take it now as it is.

I rarely am able to carry something that would barely be weighing 10 lbs. If I try to pretend that I have livable back and pick up something that I already know that my back can't carry, I automatically know that I will be feeling that mistake like hell that night. The times that I am not even able to carry a size large McDonald's cup at least ¾ full have been becoming more and more frequent. Just barely last week, I was prescribed some muscle relaxers to take to help since there was nothing showing on my X-Ray I had taken a few weeks back. That itself has been the only short term remedy that has made a helping difference. Then again, when the medication wears off I start tensing up again and feel back to where I was before. The only reason I have been able to get sleep would be because of that prescription. I take it at night when I need it - which IS everyday - and get ready for bed. I toss and turn for however long until the medication kicks in and then I am finally able to rest without feeling uncontrollable back pain.

To top it off with my back situation, I am lucky that I was able to cover the cost of my prescription. It was the most generic it could be. I was barely able to cover the $5 charge. I have no insurance anymore. I was blessed with Medicaid for two weeks, and within those two weeks I was able to get my X-Ray's and tests without having to pay the unbelievable prices. I got my prescription about a week or so after my Medicaid ended. I had insurance until I turned 18 years old, but through all my tests I had taken for my back pain I never got diagnosed.

If anyone can help me... Please. I beg you... I fear for how my back will be when I reach 20. - Priscilla
