Q: Can you tell us about the reason you decided on a career in medicine?
A: As a young man, I always had a calling for the medical sciences and my inclination was towards the field of surgery, plus I enjoy learning new techniques and advancements in the medical field.
Q: How did you become involved with The Cure Back Pain Network and what do you think about our mission to help people suffering with chronic pain through free education and advocacy?
A: Our medical administrator and former patient made me aware of The Cure Back Pain Network and after I studied their mission, I decided to join them since I feel that patients have to be made aware of the different therapeutic alternatives which treat the cause and not the symptoms. I sincerely believe that The Cure Back Pain Network is doing incredible work gathering and publishing needed information and alternatives for the increasing world-wide problem of chronic pain.
Q: What do you find rewarding about your practice? What do you find frustrating?
A: The most personally gratifying reward that I receive is from curing patients without any side effects and with 90% positive results. The most frustrating event is to see patients being attracted to, or falling victims to, unproven treatments with poor chances for positive results and many side effects.
Q: What are some of the most common diagnoses that you treat?
Q: What treatment specialties are you known for? Can you tell us more about any therapies you offer that are unique?
A: My medical practice is concentrates on aesthetic laser surgery and percutaneous hydrotomy treatments.
Q: Why do you feel that back and neck pain continue to grow at such epidemic rates?
A: The human median age is growing higher in many countries of the world plus many food additives are being used due to the increasing population. These factors are resulting in an increase in certain diagnoses, which are attributed to toxic reactions and accumulations of heavy metals. Certain treatments, such as chelation therapy, are being used more often in an attempt to detoxify the body.
Q: Why so you feel that so many patients suffer poor results from traditional treatments?
A: The mere fact that patients are being treated with traditional methods, when there are other more advanced treatments in existence, is not allowing the progress attained through medical research to be utilized in a progressive manner. Due in part to the economic restrictions implemented by organizations such as The Food and Drug Administration in the US and similar ones in other countries, many innovative therapies are only available in limited supply.
Q: What is your view on mindbody medicine? Do you believe that the mind can influence the body in positive and negative ways, and if so, how?
A: Of course. The power of the mind has been proven scientifically over and over in human history and has a very important place in modern medicine.
Q: What final thoughts would you share with our readers to help them recover from back and neck pain?
A: Please read more about me on my profile page and feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the treatments offered in my clinic.
